Fig. 1 - S2 (02.10.2018) - 4,3,2 natural colour - Severe damages & sediments-filled river on Palu coastline.
The 28.09.2018, a 7.5-magnitude shallow earthquake happened 77km north of Palu, Sulawesi island (Celebes), Indonesia. A tsunami followed.
Fig. 2 - 11,8,2 colour composite - 2 large landslides are visible east of the river (purplish).
Fig. 3 - Water flows from flooded land to the swollen river. Palu borders a deep narrow 30km-long fault-run bay.
Fig. 4 - Multiple landslides further inland. A temporary toll was over 1700 victims & 5000 missing.
