Fig. 1 - S2 (14 & 17.09.2023) - 4,3,2 natural colour - Bir Tawil is an area of over 2000km² located between Egypt and Sudan.
Fig. 2 - S1 (23.12.2021) - This area is unclaimed by both country and there is no permanent habitation, only nomade tribes.
This is the last acquisition done by the Sentinel-1 constellation over this area. There is no acquisition since this one.
Fig. 3 - COP-DEM - The area have a hot desert climate with day temperature ranging from 25°C to 40°C. The diurnal variation is about 20°C.
