Fig. 1 - S2 (17.09.2020) - Often located along riverbeds, many sand and gravel quarries are subsequently renaturalized as ponds.
At Montereau-Fault-Yonne, the Seine meets the larger Yonne and then the Loing tributary a few kilometers further.
