Fig. 1 - S2 (07.03.2021) - While it remains more preserved than its neighbours of both legal and illegal clearcutting, Gabon is also affected.
Fig. 2 - S1 (27.11-23.12.2018) - From early 2016 to end 2018, this area near Akok only encompassed a road though the forest.
Fig. 3 - S2 (17.04.2019) - A deforestation started to happen south of the road.
Fig. 4 - S2 (05.08.2019) - 8 months after the first image, clearcutting increased near the road while partial deforestation was visible further south.
Fig. 5 - S1 (14.02.2020-23.03.2020) - Several square kilometres had been deforestated by March 2020.
Fig. 6 - S2 (07.03.2021) - A new type of vegetation, likely crops, now covers most of the deforested area.
