Fig. 2 - S2 (30.01.2021) - Once the third largest lake in Italy, it was drained in 1878 after several attempts during the Roman Empire.
Fig. 3 - S1 (27.01.2020) - It took 13 years to empty the lake, following the same path as the Antiquity canal.
Fig. 4 - S1 (27.01.2021) - The resulting plain is one of Italy's most fertile regions, it also home to a large Telespazio satellite farm.
