Fig. 1 - S1 (21.05.2018) - Lake Bosumtwi is the only natural lake in Ghana, it is located amid dense rainforest in an ancient impact crater.
Lake Bosumtwi is about 49km² and 380m deep (750m with the sediments), its home crater is over 10 km in diameter.
Fig. 2 - S2 (02.01.2020) - It is located next to Kumasi aka "The Garden City", the second largest city in Ghana after the capital Accra.
Fig. 3 - S1 (26.02.2018) - It is threatened by overfishing (leading to steadily decreasing catches), increasing deforestation & ensuing erosion.
